The Psamist gives us truth and reminds us that we are emotional beings. Psalm 42 tells us to put our hope in the Lord. He is our hope in the dark ~ Psalm 42 tells us what to do when we are struggling, “why my soul are you downcast?”

The Psalmist tells us, It’s OK to not be Ok ! The Psalmist also gives us the remedy, when can I meet God face to face ? Place your hope in God. The story Is not over until God says it’s over.

SHUT OUT the voices in the world. The ones that told you that you are a burden. The voices that twist and turn the truth. The voices that use the words, I love you so freely and yet their actions show anything but love. The voices that gave you a dim diagnosis. The voices that spew death instead of life. The voices that stir up conflict and dissension. Sometimes, the voices can be our own thoughts and words that we need to STOP and redirect when they seep into our minds.

Stop… the …. Noise !!!

If you are struggling right now, remind yourself that perfect LOVE cast out all fear. God can give a song in the darkest place !!!

Ask God to give you a song and he will and when he does, sing it back to him ~ Keep singing it back to God and yourself until you step back into the to light ! You will feel your faith arise.

God gives us beauty for ashes. But, we have to give him ALL the ashes. The ashes of hope lost. The ashes of relationships lost. The ashes of betrayal. Ashes of brokenness. Ashes of dreams that died hard. Ashes of regret. God is a MASTER CHEF, He will takes ingredients that we think could never be used and make a wholesome, healthy one of a kind masterpiece.

Run to the one that loves you the most. Run to the one that has the power and all the answers. HE calls you HIS BELOVED CHILD AND HE CALLS YOU BY NAME. Rest upon His word. HIS ARMS ARE A FORTRESS FOR THE WEAK ~

Remember~ We enter his gates with thanksgiving AND INTO HIS COURTS WITH PRAISE.
