My name is Darla Owens. I live in Alabama.  Growing up southern is a privilege to me and  I LOVE  everything about living in the South.  I am  happily married to my soul mate Don Owens.  He is a man that loves the Lord and truly a man of conviction.  Two wonderful children , Joshua Lee and Lauren Ashley . I am beyond blessed to be their Mother.  We also share our home with 5 dogs, Sadie, Freeway, Charlie Brown, Bella and Libby Leigh. Add to this number my three horses, Baltazar , PenDragon and Summer Breeze.

Countless Wonders was started to simply encourage others. We all need to be lifted up and encouraged at times. The Bible is a great source for encouragement. The Bible is the living word of God and feeds us through the promises of God found in scripture. His word encourages us , teaches us and corrects us and ALL are from our loving God.

This blog is simply sharing the life lessons that the Lord has taught me and still teaching me day by day.  I am hoping as  you walk this journey with me that you will be encouraged along the way. I have learned that there is no valley, there is no darkness, there is nothing that can separate us from the love of our Sovereign God.  In times when we do not understand, we must say to ourselves, Your ways Lord are not our ways and your thoughts are not our thoughts. I will trust you! I know Lord, you  will see us through. He carries us each step of the way just like a loving Father does.
